3 Days 2 Nights Khao Sok National Park & Cheow Lan Lake
Las Orquideas built a package for those guests who are time restricted. It includes; a 1 night stay at Khao Sok Las Orquideas Resort, 1 really fun excursion and our famous 2 day 1 night Cheow Lan Lake Experience tour which is filled with lake tours, hiking and cave exploring. The 3 Day 2 Night itinerary is displayed below.
Day 1
Check-in
If you get to our resort in the early afternoon (noon to 4pm) we have a very good selection of excursions we can add to this package like river tubing, bamboo rafting or canoeing. After a fun afternoon of excursions get ready to explore the Khao Sok National Park and the jungle at night, yes on a Night Safari.
18:40 For 2 hours you will trek through the jungle to see it at night and hopefully catch a glimpse of all the nocturnal creatures and the creepy crawlers it harbors. Your English speaking guide will be right there with you to point out everything his trained eye sees. This is a private tour. After that trek we are confident that you will get a good night's rest in your air conditioned standard or family bungalow.
Day 2
Wake up and have a delicious simple buffet breakfast and enjoy the best coffee in Khao Sok. Leave your luggage behind (we will safely store it for you) and only take what you think you will need for the overnight lake excursion.

09:45 Stop at local Market - you may wish to buy some snacks or simply browse through the local market.

10:00 Arrive at the Cheow Lan Lake Pier, go through the formalities of paying the National Park entrance fee and the Lake pier fee. Then board your longtail boat to begin the Cheow Lan Lake Experience tour.

11:00 You will arrive at your floating Raft-House, and proceed to check into your deluxe bamboo bungalow(s), and perhaps enjoy swimming or kayaking.

12:30 It's lunch time. Enjoy a Thai Set lunch. We are sure you will enjoy it. Then hang around the raft-house do a little swimming in the crystal clear water of the lake.

14:30 A short boat trip to a hiking trail to explore the jungle while trekking to the Diamond Cave and enjoy exploring it.

15:30 Return to the raft-house to get in some rest and relaxation, perhaps another swim.

16:00 Your next journey on the longtail boat is an evening water safari and hopefully you will catch a glimpse of the wildlife in the area.

17:30 You will return to the raft-house. Enjoy some free time before dinner

19:00 Dinner is served. Take your time, you are off the clock. Get to bed early Day 3 starts early.
Day 3

06:30 Board the longtail boat for a morning mist safari on the lake

08:00 Return to the raft-house for some breakfast, get in a last minute swim if you want

09:00 It's time to check-out

10:00 Board your longtail boat for the cruise back to Khao Sam Kler, also known as the Guilin of Thailand. It's really stunning so take lots of pictures. Your boat ride continues finding its way back to where it all started.

11:00 You will arrive at the pier and get on your mini bus that will take you to your next destination, lunch at a viewpoint on the dam.

12:30 Begin the drive back to Khao Sok

13:00 Arrive back to where it all started our resort - Khao Sok Las Orquideas
OPTIONAL: Need a transfer? Instead of returning to our resort we can offer transfer services from Cheow Lan Lake to other destinations, example Donsak Pier or Surat Thani Airport or destinations in Krabi or Phuket. Just let us know after booking this package and we will assist you to get to your next destination safely.
Important Notes
1) 50% Deposit required upon booking. Balance at check in.
2) 7 day cancellation policy on this package (full refund of deposit minus bank and transfer fees)
3) 2 Day Overnight Cheow Lan Lake tour departs from our resort in Khao Sok and returns to our resort in Khao Sok.
4) Tour itinerary subject to change due to weather or tourist traffic on the lake.
5) National Park Entrance and Cheow Lan Lake Fees are not included in the price and must be paid at the park. (340 THB adults 170 THB for children 8 years old or younger.)
