Nestled in the heart of Khao Sok National Park, Khao Sok Las Orquideas Resort offers its guests the ultimate jungle retreat. It was built on a mountainside just 300 meters from the border of the national park. Construction of the resort proved to be difficult because the owners want to preserve the natural surrounding. They selected plots that had little to no vegetation on them and built bungalows in their natural environment, the jungle. All the bungalows are  built on the slope of the mountain, some require a little leg work but the views are incredible and worth the excersise.

Our serene bungalows (only 9) combine modern Thai décor with amenities, including air conditioning, hot water, and free WiFi. Some bungalows have private balconies, some have terraces. Most of the bungalows have stunning mountain and jungle views. All have views of our lush and pristine tropical gardens. Wildlife roams freely in our resort.  Monkeys, mountain squirrels, tree mice, lizards and 40 different species of frogs can be seen and heard during different times of the year. Not to mention the plethora of insects flying and crawling around.  

 

Khao Sok Las Orquideas Resort is just a little over 1 kilometer from the main highway (Route 401) where bus stops and van terminals are located, and it is also a 900 meter walk to the gates of the Khao Sok National Park entrance. We actually have the perfect location, smack in the middle of Khao Sok Road.

Archie's @ Khao Sok Las Orquideas is the newest restaurant and bar in Khao Sok. It serves n amazing breakfast buffet between 07:30 to 10:00 AM and then serves an a la carte menu until 21:00. All the details can be found in our food and beverage webpage
